Parigi2024, Jolly: "Cerimonia chiusura omaggio a umanità condivisa"

Parigi, 9 ago. (askanews) - Dopo le polemiche scatenate per la cerimonia di apertura dei Giochi olimpici con contenuti criticati anche dal Vaticano per le scene ritenute offensive nei confronti del Cristianesimo, torna a parlare Thomas Jolly il direttore delle cerimonie olimpiche. "In realtà vogliamo celebrare questa umanità condivisa" afferma a due giorni prima della cerimonia di chiusura. "Sarà completamente diverso dalla cerimonia di apertura perché ho uno stadio, quindi ci sono gli ingressi, ci sono le luci, c'è una scenografia, c'è uno spazio verso cui sono attirati tutti gli sguardi. Cambia completamente il modo in cui scrivo lo spettacolo", aggiunge. Thomas Jolly all'indomani della cerimonia di apertura aveva risposto così alle critiche dello show che è stato seguito da tutto il mondo difendendo le "idee repubblicane e quelle di inclusione, benevolenza, generosità e solidarietà". "Non volevo essere sovversivo, né provocare choc. Semplicemente, in Francia abbiamo il diritto di amarci, come vogliamo e con chi vogliamo. Abbiamo il diritto di credere o di non credere".
