Piano Mattei: Meloni, 'avanti anche dopo mio governo, superare steccati per bene paese'

Roma, 30 ago. (Adnkronos) - "Abbiamo inviato a fine luglio in Parlamento" il Piano Mattei "per ricevere i pareri delle Commissioni competenti. Ho seguito il dibattito che si è sviluppato in Commissione e ci tengo in questa sede a sottolinearne uno che ritengo molto importante e che è emerso nel corso dell'esame. Il Piano Mattei è un piano di respiro nazionale, che risponde al nostro interesse nazionale di creare un nuovo modello di sviluppo e partneriato con l'Africa, e restituire all'Italia la centralità che storicamente le è propria nel Mediterraneo. Ma è immaginato come un piano strategico che dovrebbe andare oltre anche la durata di questo Governo. E per questo mi auguro che sia considerato così da tutti, a partire dalle forze politiche che oggi sono all'opposizione e che finora, secondo me, hanno avuto su questa vicenda una chiusura pregiudiziale". Così la premier Giorgia Meloni, nelle sue comunicazioni in apertura di Cdm oggi, il cui testo è in possesso dell'AdnKronos. Il Piano "lo abbiamo condiviso con il Parlamento proprio per ascoltare anche le opposizioni e sperare che almeno su questo si potesse lavorare tutti insieme. Finora non è accaduto ma spero ancora possa accadere in futuro. Mi auguro che su alcuni punti strategici - com'è la politica estera - ci possa essere la più ampia condivisione e si possano superare quegli steccati di parte che, per troppo spesso in passato, hanno impedito all'Italia di perseguire il proprio interesse nazionale con l'unità e la coesione che sono necessari".
