Ponte Morandi, Meloni “Dovere morale accertare le colpe e omissioni”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “Memoria, rinascita, giustizia. Sono trascorsi sei anni dalla catastrofe del crollo del Ponte Morandi, che il 14 agosto 2018 ha sconvolto Genova, la Liguria e la Nazione intera. Oggi onoriamo le 43 vittime di quella tragedia e ci stringiamo, con la mente e con il cuore, ai loro famigliari e ai loro cari. Oggi ci sentiamo un pò tutti genovesi, figli di una città fiera e orgogliosa che è stata moralmente piegata e fisicamente spezzata in due, ma che da allora ha saputo anche rialzarsi e andare avanti”. Lo dichiara il presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, nel sesto anniversario nel crollo del Ponte Morandi a Genova. “Genova è rinata, più forte e più caparbia di prima – prosegue -. Il Ponte San Giorgio, la cui costruzione ha segnato un modello di efficienza, innovazione e capacità ingegneristica, è uno dei simboli più potenti di questo nuovo corso. Ma quel Ponte ricorda alla Nazione le tante, troppe, domande rimaste ancora senza risposta. Fare giustizia e individuare le responsabilità per ciò che è accaduto, accertando una volta per tutte colpe e omissioni, è un dovere morale, oltre che giudiziario. Rinnoviamo l'auspicio che l'iter giudiziario possa concludersi nel più breve tempo possibile perchè Genova, la Liguria e l'Italia aspettano di conoscere la verità processuale su ciò che è accaduto”, conclude. – Foto Agenzia Fotogramma – (ITALPRESS).
