Quirinale: Mattarella a Ginevra, visita a Unhcr, poi a Cern per 70 anni del Centro

Ginevra, 1 ott. (Adnkronos) - Il Presidente della Repubblica, Sergio Mattarella, è arrivato a Ginevra dove ha in programma una serie di appuntamenti. Prima tappa la visita all''Alto commissariato delle Nazioni unite per i rifugiati (Unhcr) guidato da Filippo Grandi. Successivamente il Capo dello Stato avrà un incontro con la Rappresentanza permanente dell'Italia presso l'Onu e le altre organizzazioni internazionali. Nel pomeriggio, a partire dalle 15, Mattarella, insieme ai rappresentanti di altre Nazioni, interverrà alla cerimonia per i 70 anni del Centro europeo per la ricerca nucleare (Cern), diretto dall'italiana Fabiola Giannotti e presieduto da Eliezer Rabinovici. Quindi, dopo una visita allo spazio espositivo Cern Science Gateway, il rientro a Roma.
