Razzismo: Fassino, 'nessuna accusa da Ecri a Forze Ordine'

Roma, 22 ott. (Adnkronos) - "Prima di rilasciare sdegnate dichiarazioni sul Rapporto Ecri (la Commissione del Consiglio d'Europa su discriminazione e razzismo), sarebbe necessario almeno leggere quel Rapporto, il quale non accusa l'Italia, né le sue Forze dell'Ordine di razzismo. Nel Rapporto si obietta giustamente all'utilizzo, in particolare nei confronti di Rom e migranti provenienti dall'Africa, della categoria della 'profilazione razziale' formula che peraltro contrasta esplicitamente con l'articolo 3 della Costituzione che vieta qualsiasi discriminazione di razza". Lo afferma Piero Fassino, componente della delegazione italiana dell'Assemblea parlamentare del Consiglio d'Europa. "Anziché suscitare polemiche strumentali -aggiunge- si raccolgano le raccomandazioni conclusive del Rapporto, volte a favorire politiche di contrasto a ogni forma o rischio di discriminazione, a partire dalla istituzione anche in Italia -come hanno fatto già quasi tutti Paesi del Consiglio d'Europa- di una Autorità indipendente contro le discriminazioni".
