Roccella: Non bisogna fare ascoltare alle donne il battito dei nascituri

Pescara, 27 apr. (askanews) - Far ascoltare il battito del nascituro a una donna che decide di portare a termine una interruzione volontaria di gravidanza "è una cosa che non bisogna fare". Lo ha detto la ministra per la Famiglia, la Natalità e le Pari opportunità Eugenia Maria Roccella a margine dell'evento di Fratelli d'Italia a Pescara, rispondendo a una domanda sul caso sollevato dal Centro antiviolenza di Aosta, secondo cui alcune donne sarebbero state obbligate a sentire il battito del feto in presidi sanitari pubblici a cui si erano rivolte per una interruzione volontaria di gravidanza. "Non è stato certamente un volontario a fare questo perché per fare sentire il battito c'è bisogno di una ecografia e di un ginecologo, quindi è stata una prassi di un ginecologo ed è giusto che emerga sulla stampa questa cattiva prassi medica", ha aggiunto Roccella. La ministra ha anche sottolineato, in merito alle polemiche sul sì del governo alla presenza di volontari nei consultori, che "nella 194 c'è già all'articolo 2 la possibilità di fare convenzioni soprattutto per aiutare le maternità difficili e quindi perché una donna non debba abortire per motivi economici, solo per motivi economici".
