L'editorialista di Repubblica si trasforma anche in umorista, commentando il video che Matteo Salvini ha pubblicato sui suoi profili social dopo la richiesta del pm di Palermo di sei anni di carcere per la vicenda Open Arms. Il segretario della Lega è apparso nel filmato in primo piano, vestito con un abito elegante davanti a uno sfondo nero. E in molti hanno paragonato quella clip a una classica docuserie di Netflix. Massimo Giannini, nel parlare del video pubblicato da Matteo Salvini, lo ha definito una "Salvinian Rhapsody", alludendo alla celebre canzone dei Queen. E, sempre restando sul tema canoro, ha pragonato il segretario del Carroccio a un Freddie Mercury di Pontida. Anche qui, il riferimento è allo storico luogo - nella bergamasca - teatro delle feste del partito fondato da Umberto Bossi, dove in tanti seguono i comizi dei vertici leghisti direttamente dal "pratone". Lo stesso Matteo Salvini, nella giornata di ieri lunedì 16 settembre, ha annunciato una sorta di "Pontida internazionale", dove all'evento saranno presenti anche delegazioni di oltreconfine, come per esempio quelle americane. Il segretario del Carroccio ha poi confermato di avere avuto contatti con il patron di X Elon Musk.
