Schifani: più investimenti per produzioni audiovisivo in Sicilia

Siracusa, 13 apr. (askanews) - Agli Stati Generali del Cinema, al Castello Maniace di Ortigia fino al 14 aprile, il presidente della Regione Sicilia Renato Schifani ha parlato di nuovi investimenti nel settore per attirare ancora di più le produzioni in Sicilia. "La Sicilia è un set aperto e lo vuole dimostrare con questa iniziativa fortemente voluta dal mio governo - ha detto a margine dell'evento - un momento di dibattito e confronto sottolineando non poco che la Sicilia è pronta ad aiutare la formazione dei produttori cinematografici e degli attori; abbiamo un clima e dei set che già da soli sono autonomi nel presentarsi per la realizzazione dei film". "Abbiamo già investito 20 milioni nel settore e ne investiremo altri 5 in questa finanziaria - ha aggiunto Schifani - proprio per realizzare un progetto che già avevo presentato in campagna elettorale: la Sicilia non deve solo diventare polo attrattivo per produzioni cinematografiche, anche con incentivi per la formazione, ma la storia parla da sé, basta vedere serie tv come Makari o Montalbano che sono arrivate da sole, allora perché non incentivare ancora di più l'interesse attraverso l'iniziativa politica?".
