Prosegue il conflitto tra Israele e Hezbollah. L'esercito dello Stato ebraico ha dichiarato che oltre 100 razzi sono stati lanciati nel Paese dal Libano e alcuni sono atterrati vicino alla città settentrionale di Haifa. Subito dopo i militari hanno fatto irruzione nella sede di Al Jazeera a Ramallah, nella Cisgiordania occupata, ordinando all'ufficio di chiudere, e hanno scagliato ulteriori missili contro obbiettivi del gruppo paramilitare libanese. "Negli ultimi giorni abbiamo inflitto a Hezbollah una sequenza di colpi che non immaginava. Se Hezbollah non ha capito il messaggio, vi prometto che lo capirà. Siamo determinati a riportare i nostri residenti nel nord, in sicurezza, nelle loro case. Nessun Paese può tollerare il fuoco sui propri residenti, sulle proprie città. E nemmeno noi, lo Stato di Israele, lo tollereremo. Faremo tutto il necessario per ripristinare la sicurezza", ha detto il premier israeliano Benjamin Netanyahu.
