Sequestrati a un medico 8 milioni di euro in contanti a Napoli

Napoli, 19 ago. (askanews) - Una montagna di banconote 50, 100 e 200 euro nascoste dietro a un armadio per il valore di circa 8 milioni di euro. È quanto scoperto la Guardia di Finanza di Napoli nella casa di un insospettabile medico di base, nel comune di Santa Maria della Carità, nella fascia metropolitana del capoluogo campano. Il denaro era suddiviso in mazzette avvolte in buste con scritte e annotazioni. L'inchiesta delle fiamme gialle è scaturita da una verifica fiscale nei confronti del medico che esercitava a Pompei e che non ha saputo giustificare la provenienza del denaro. Le ipotesi di reato contestate sono truffa aggravata ai danni dello stato e ricettazione. Il medico infatti potrebbe aver favorito attraverso il rilascio di falsi certificati l'approvazione di pratiche previdenziali per il riconoscimento di assegni e pensioni di invalidità da parte dello stato.
