Sinwar ucciso, i parenti degli ostaggi: "le loro vite in grave pericolo"

Roma, 17 ott. (askanews) - "Questo è un momento critico per quanto riguarda gli ostaggi. Le loro vite sono più in pericolo che mai": lo dice Orna Neutra, madre dell'ostaggio israeloamericano Omer Neutra, in un videomessaggio dopo la notizia che Israele a Gaza ha ucciso il nuovo leader di Hamas, Yahya Sinwar. "Siamo i genitori di Omer Neutra, cittadino israelo-americano che è ostaggio di Hamas da 377 giorni. Abbiamo sentito la notizia della uccisione di Yahya Sinwar, capo dell'organizzazione Hamas a Gaza. Questo è un momento critico, molto legato allo sviluppo degli eventi per gli ostaggi. Le loro vite sono in grande pericolo ora più che mai. Chiediamo al governo israeliano e all'amministrazione Usa di agire in fretta e fare quello che serve per ottenere un'intesa con i rapitori" dice Orna Neutra. Suo marito Ronen aggiunge "Siamo a un momento cruciale dove gli obbiettivi della guerra a Gaza sono stati raggiunti, tutti tranne il rilascio degli ostaggi. Sinwar era descritto come un ostacolo enorme per la pace, e ora è morto. E' fondamentale che tutta l'attenzione ora sia concentrata su un accordo che garantirà il rilascio di nostro figlio Omer e del resto degli ostaggi".
