Sport, Salis: "Fair play fondamentale, abbiamo missione morale importante"

Roma, 5 giu. - (Adnkronos) - "Il fair play è un concetto fondamentale alla base dello sport. Noi ci occupiamo di sport di alto livello, dove comandano i risultati, ma abbiamo una missione morale molto importante, perché i risultati sportivi sono fatti da persone che ispirano gli italiani e la Nazione”. Lo dice Silvia Salis, vicepresidente del Coni, nel corso della presentazione della 28/a edizione del Premio Internazionale Fair Play Menarini. “Dobbiamo farci portatori di questo valore e dobbiamo sottolineare sia quando c'è che quando manca -aggiunge Salis-. Non sempre lo sport dà il messaggio corretto, lo dà nella maggioranza dei casi, ma la prestazione non deve mai giustificare atteggiamenti di scarso livello morale. È importante portare questo valore, ed è importante premiare i bambini che in modo puro tramandano il valore del fair play facendo sì che negli anni non vada perso”.
