“Meno lo Stato entra nel cinema e meglio è, da quando lo Stato è entrato nel cinema, il cinema italiano è morto” dice Luca Ward a La Terrazza della Dolce Vita. “Noi eravamo quelli di C'era una volta in America, del Nome della Rosa, ci andavamo a prendere gli Oscar.” Una speranza per il cinema c'è, risponde il doppiatore de Il Gladiatore a Simona Ventura: “Il punto di partenza è unire le due età, i giovani e i non più giovani. Le nuove generazioni parlo dei quindici, diciotto, vent'anni, sono veramente forti però bisogna crederci. Perché se non ci crediamo e non gli diamo una mano… A noi arrivano dei dimostrativi mandati da ragazzi che sembrano girati da Tarantino, però bisogna dargli una mano. Fateci vedere qualche faccia nuova, puntiamo sul nuovo”.
