Tpl, Pettinelli (Avm): "Si può fare efficienza anche se gestione è svolta da soggetto pubblico"

Roma, 16 apr. (Adnkronos) - "Vorrei uscire dei luoghi comuni affermando che si può fare efficienza nel trasporto anche se la gestione è svolta da un soggetto pubblico. Siamo il leader del territorio nella realizzazione del Green Deal, stiamo rispettando con un poderoso piano di investimenti tale missione affidataci". Così il presidente di Azienda Veneziana della Mobilità di Venezia, Paolo Pettinelli, a margine del XVIII Convegno Nazionale di Asstra tenutosi a Roma. “Abbiamo deliberato da poco - ha continuato il presidente - un piano di investimento di 330 milioni di euro circa per il completo rinnovo di tutta la flotta sia di terra sia di acqua della società. È ovvio che si tratta di un impegno enorme ed è la dimostrazione, appunto, che si può fare efficienza. Abbiamo acquistato 90 autobus a idrogeno, 70 autobus elettrici abbiamo già fatto un investimento di 30 milioni di euro per la mobilità elettrica su gomma”. “La prima mission è il ‘Green Deal' e noi siamo assolutamente sul territorio tra gli attori principali di questa missione. Nei momenti di difficoltà, il pubblico deve trainare l'iniziativa del Paese”, ha concluso.
