Tutti via dal Grand Canyon: maltempo, l'evacuazione di massa

La Guardia Nazionale degli Stati Uniti ha evacuato 104 persone, tra cui turisti e membri una tribù di nativi americani, da un canyon dopo che un'inondazione improvvisa ha colpito il Parco Nazionale del Grand Canyon, con l'ausilio di un elicottero UH-60 Blackhawk. L'inondazione ha intrappolato diversi escursionisti nell'area di Beaver Falls, una delle numerose cascate di colore blu-verde che attirano turisti da tutto il mondo nella riserva della tribù Havasupai. L'area è soggetta a inondazioni che rendono le sue famose cascate di colore marrone. Le squadre di soccorso stanno anche cercando una donna dispersa dopo essere stata trascinata in un torrente.
