Ucraina, Blinken: Putin vuole di nuovo usare l'inverno come arma

New York, 23 set. (askanews) - Un Putin "che usa l'inverno come arma, il clima come arma, per usare l'energia come arma nei suoi sforzi per soggiogare l'Ucraina", e gli Stati Uniti che assieme all'Europa devono aiutare Kiev per assicurarsi che abbia l'energia necessaria a superare la stagione fredda. E' il quadro tratteggiato dal segretario di Stato americano Antony Blinken a in una riunione del G7 Plus copresieduto dall'Italia con il ministro degli Esteri Antonio Tajani a New York, per coordinare gli sforzi degli alleati dell'Ucraina sull'emergenza energetica. "Oggi discuteremo esattamente dove siamo e dove dobbiamo andare con urgenza nei giorni e nelle settimane a venire", ha detto Blinken, "riparando e sostituendo le cose che sono state distrutte dalle bombe e dai missili russi, proteggendo le diverse strutture della rete, portando più energia, energia distribuita, in Ucraina, mobilitando le aziende per assicurarsi che stiano facendo la loro parte, lavorando con gli europei e la rete energetica in Europa per rendere ancora più energia disponibile agli ucraini. Discuteremo di queste e altre priorità mentre ci avviamo verso l'inverno".
