Ucraina: Cameron, 'dispiegamento aerei porterebbe a escalation'

Londra, 16 apr. (Adnkronos) - Lo schieramento di aerei da combattimento occidentali per proteggere l'Ucraina dagli attacchi missilistici porterebbe a una “pericolosa escalation”. Lo ha detto alla radio Lbc il ministro degli Esteri britannico David Cameron, aggiungendo che la Royal Air Force ha abbattuto "un certo numero di droni" sullo spazio aereo di Iraq e Siria, ma non può difendere lo spazio aereo ucraino allo stesso modo, in quanto "l'unica cosa" che deve essere evitata è "il coinvolgimento diretto delle truppe Nato con le truppe russe". L'Ucraina dovrebbe ricevere sostegno “in termini di denaro e, soprattutto, in termini di armi”, ma “mettere effettivamente le forze della Nato direttamente in conflitto con le forze russe, penso che sarebbe un'escalation pericolosa”, ha detto Cameron .
