Ucraina: Gb, 'guerra ha avuto impatto critico su operazioni Gazprom'

Londra, 12 mag. (Adnkronos/Dpa/Europa Press) - L'intelligence militare del Regno Unito ha dedicato la sua valutazione quotidiana sulla guerra in Ucraina all'esame dell'impatto negativo del conflitto sulla compagnia russa del gas Gazprom, che nel 2023 ha registrato i peggiori risultati finanziari degli ultimi 25 anni e senza prospettive di miglioramento stime di Londra, almeno fino alla fine di questo decennio. Il ministero della Difesa britannico ricorda su X che lo scorso anno i ricavi del gruppo sono diminuiti del 30%, con conseguenti perdite nette annue di 629 miliardi di rubli (6,3 miliardi di euro), derivanti dagli effetti della guerra. "Le operazioni di Gazprom sono state fortemente limitate dall'invasione russa dell'Ucraina nel 2022 e dal conseguente degrado delle relazioni russe con l'Occidente", osserva il ministero. Londra ritiene che l'azienda abbia fallito nel suo tentativo di "riorientare completamente le sue esportazioni oltre la sua dipendenza dai mercati europei" e stima che questo percorso "continuerà a limitare i suoi profitti almeno fino al 2030".
