Ucraina: il parlamento Kiev mette al bando la Chiesa ortodossa russa

Il parlamento di Kiev, ha approvato la messa al bando in Ucraina della Chiesa ortodossa russa e delle sue organizzazioni affiliate. La legge entrerà in vigore 30 giorni dopo la sua pubblicazione. "I membri della Chiesa ortodossa russa in Ucraina avranno 9 mesi di tempo per recidere i legami con la Chiesa di Mosca", specificano i parlamentari. “Questo è annientamento", il commento della portavoce del ministero degli Esteri russo Maria Zakharova secondo cui "l'obiettivo qui era distruggere alla radice la vera Ortodossia canonica". Dura la reazione anche di Nikolai Balashov, consigliere del Patriarca Kirill di Mosca. “La legge adottata dalla Rada viola le norme riconosciute a livello internazionale in materia di tutela della libertà religiosa e offre l'opportunità di un ulteriore e più ampio dispiegamento della persecuzione anti-Chiesa da parte del regime di Kiev”.
