Ucraina, Zelensky licenzia il comandante delle forze aeree

Kiev, 31 ago. (askanews) - Il presidente ucraino Volodymyr Zelensky ha rimosso il comandante dell'aeronautica militare ucraina, il generale Mykola Oleschuk. Lo ha annunciato lo stesso Zelensky in un messaggio in video alla nazione. La decisione non è stata motivata ma arriva pochi giorni dopo lo schianto di un F-16 da poco consegnato a Kiev, e la morte del noto pilota Oleksiy Mes, detto "Moonfish" e molto popolare in Ucraina, per cause ancora da accertare. "Ho deciso di sostituire il comandante dell'Aeronautica delle Forze Armate dell'Ucraina - ha dichiarato Zelensky - sono infinitamente grato a tutti i nostri piloti militari, a tutti gli ingegneri, a tutti i soldati dei gruppi di fuoco mobili, ai calcoli della difesa aerea. A tutti coloro che combattono davvero per l'Ucraina - per il risultato. Ed è necessario anche a livello di squadra - dobbiamo rafforzarci. E proteggere le persone. Proteggere il personale significa proteggere tutti i nostri soldati. Tutti i soldati dell'Ucraina.
