Ue, a forza di regole l'Europa perderà il treno per il futuro

La questione è complessa, ma il dilemma è semplice: preferite tentare di fermare l'uragano della rivoluzione tecnologica con le mani, provando a mettere al sicuro i vostri dati, la vostra privacy e le vostre vecchie certezze analogiche, oppure volete che il vostro iPhone sia in grado, attraverso l'intelligenza artificiale, di offrirvi servizi sempre più evoluti e sofisticati? Da questa domanda, apparentemente retorica, non dipendono solo le vostre giornate passate (nella maniera che ritenete più opportuna) davanti allo schermo del telefonino, ma il futuro dell'Europa. Che c'entra l'iPhone col destino del Vecchio continente? È presto detto. Ieri la Commissione Ue ha informato Microsoft che in base ad una analisi preliminare il colosso hi-tech avrebbe violato le nostre norme Antitrust legando il suo prodotto di comunicazione e collaborazione Teams alle sue applicazioni più diffuse, a partire da Office 365 e Microsoft 365. Un trucchetto? Una furberia per accaparrarsi i clienti? Forse sì. Ma l'altro ieri sempre l'Antitrust Ue ha detto ad Apple che il suo App Store violerebbe le regole recentemente stabilite dal Digital Markets Act, una delle nostre innumerevoli bibbie dei sacri diritti degli utenti, stilata per metterci al riparo dalle minacce che piovono come meteoriti dalle multinazionali che già viaggiano nel futuro.
