Ue: von der Leyen chiede astenersi da qualunque escalation

Milano, 19 apr. (askanews) - "Dobbiamo fare tutto il possibile affinché tutte le parti si trattengano dall'escalation in quella regione. Abbiamo visto il massiccio attacco con droni e missili, circa 300, da parte dell'Iran contro Israele. È assolutamente necessario che la regione rimanga stabile e che tutte le parti si astengano da ulteriori azioni". Così la presidente della Commissione europea, Ursula von der Leyen, che ha invitato l'Iran, Israele e i loro alleati ad astenersi da qualsiasi escalation in Medio Oriente, dopo che fonti hanno dichiarato che lo stato ebraico ha effettuato un attacco sul territorio iraniano. Von der Leyen ha parlato al fianco del primo ministro finlandese Petteri Orpo a Lappeenranta, in Finlandia, a circa 25 chilometri dal confine russo.
