Unareti, Gerli: "Puntiamo a distribuzione energia elettrica sempre più sostenibile"

Milano, 3 ott. - (Labitalia) - “Le sfide per il futuro delle reti elettriche riguardano prima di tutto la transizione energetica che vede come suo elemento principale l'elettrificazione della maggior parte dei consumi”. Lo sottolinea Francesco Gerli, amministratore delegato di Unareti in occasione della presentazione del primo quadro in media tensione isolato in gas privo di SF6 (gas fluorurati a effetto serra) in Italia. La sperimentazione consentirà di portare l'elettricità in una zona di Milano utilizzando la tecnologia “Clean Air”, che impiega gas di origine naturale. Grazie a questo progetto pilota, Unareti è il primo Distribution Service Operator (DSO) del Paese ad adottare - in anticipo di oltre un anno rispetto al target del 1° gennaio 2026 stabilito dal nuovo regolamento Europeo 2024/573 - un quadro di distribuzione di energia elettrica costituito da componenti naturali dell'aria, più rispettoso dell'ambiente e adatto a tutte le temperature di esercizio. “Questo progetto per noi è molto importante e ci siamo uniti con orgoglio a Siemens, primi in Italia a installare questo nuovo tipo di quadro elettrico – prosegue Gerli – Ritroviamo caratteristiche di sostenibilità ad altissimo livello che si coniugano con la grande compattezza”.
