Who am I? Ai Weiwei non sa rispondere, ma centra il problema sull'identità

"Chi sono io? Non lo saprò mai. Cambio ogni giorno". Ai Weiwei, artista cinese da sempre impegnato nella difesa dei diritti umani, risponde così a Nicoletta Orlandi Posti che lo intervista per Libero in occasione della presentazione a Palazzo Fava a Bologna della sua prima personale che si intitola appunto “Ai Weiwei. Who am I?”. Prodotta da Fondazione Carisbo nell'ambito del progetto culturale Genus Bononiae e realizzata da Opera Laboratori con il supporto di Galleria Continua, l'esposizione è curata da Arturo Galansino. Come indica il titolo, ispirato da una conversazione dell'artista con l'intelligenza artificiale, la mostra a Palazzo Fava presenta l'artista e il suo universo creativo, in una tensione continua tra tradizione e sperimentazione, conservazione e distruzione. Grandi installazioni, sculture, video e fotografie testimoniano la versatilità e la profondità della ricerca dell'artista cinese, oltre cinquanta opere invadono interamente lo storico palazzo bolognese, a partire dallo scalone fino alle sale monumentali, sotto gli affreschi dipinti sul finire del Cinquecento dai Carracci e dalla loro scuola, per poi terminare al secondo piano.
