Le forze di Israele hanno fatto ingresso in Libano, lanciando ‘offensive mirate e ristrette’

La residenza del capo delle Brigate al-Aqsa, Mounir Maqdah, è stata colpita da droni israeliani in Libano. Un attacco ha inoltre colpito un campo di rifugiati palestinesi a Nuseirat, in Gaza, causando 13 vittime. Gli Stati Uniti sostengono il diritto di Israele alla difesa contro possibili minacce di Hezbollah. Il capo del Pentagono, Lloyd Austin, ha discusso con il ministro israeliano della Difesa, Yoav Gallant, sulla necessità di smantellare le infrastrutture d'attacco di Hezbollah. Anche Antony Blinken, segretario di stato americano, ha sottolineato l'importanza della de-escalation e le iniziative diplomatiche nel contesto medio-orientale. Un altro campo di rifugiati palestinesi in Libano è stato attaccato da Israele. Nel frattempo a Damasco, capitale siriana, si sono verificate esplosioni. Infine, l'IDF, le forze israeliane, hanno avviato una campagna sulla terra riferendosi all'operazione nel sud del Libano, coordinandosi con l'artiglieria e l'aeronautica militare per colpire obiettivi militari.
