Abodi: "Ha bisogno dell'aiuto di tutti, anche del mondo sportivo"

Roma, 11 apr. (Adnkronos) - “Il mare è il più grande impianto sportivo a cielo aperto che esista. Oggi solamente in Italia ci sono sette federazioni sportive direttamente coinvolte. Ecco allora che noi dobbiamo usare le eccellenze sportive, olimpiche e paralimpiche, per far in modo che i grandi atleti diventino testimonial di una cultura del rispetto del mare che ha bisogno di tutti". Lo ha detto il ministro per lo Sport e per i Giovani, Andrea Abodi, intervenendo oggi al terzo Summit nazionale sull'economia del mare - Blue Forum" a Gaeta. "Eliminare la plastica dal mare è uno dei grandi temi: cultura e rispetto del mare devono trovare nello sport un fattore di accelerazione e di sensibilizzazione - ha spiegato - Per questo dobbiamo mettere in condizione le federazioni di esprimersi al meglio coniugando l'attività sportiva e la promozione della cultura del mare. Anche il servizio civile a tema ambientale può aiutare. Il lavoro da fare è enorme e c'è un tavolo interministeriale che se ne sta occupando perché il Mediterraneo oltre essere il più grande impianto sportivo a cielo aperto, nella cronaca di tutti i giorni è anche un grande cimitero a cielo aperto".
