Blinken: a Gaza l'imperativo assoluto è proteggere vite innocenti

Parigi, 2 apr. (askanews) - "Non dovremmo avere una situazione in cui le persone che stanno semplicemente cercando di aiutare i loro simili siano esse stesse in grave pericolo. Abbiamo parlato direttamente con il governo israeliano di questo particolare incidente, abbiamo sollecitato un'indagine rapida, approfondita e imparziale per capire esattamente cosa è successo e, come abbiamo fatto durante tutto questo conflitto, abbiamo insistito sull'imperativo assoluto di fare di più per proteggere vite civili innocenti, siano essi bambini palestinesi, donne e uomini o operatori umanitari e per ottenere una maggiore assistenza umanitaria per più persone, in modo più efficace". È il commento all'uccisione dei volontari dell'associazione umanitaria americana World Central Kitchen a Gaza da parte dell'esercito israeliano del segretario di Stato americano, Anthony Blinken in visita in Francia per parlare con il presidente Emmanuel Macron della situazione in Medio Oriente e del conflitto in Ucraina.
