Blitz dei filo-Gaza nello stand italiano a Tunisi: Sangiuliano costretto ad allontanarsi | Guarda

Il clima di tensione attorno alla posizione dell'Italia nel conflitto israelo-palestinese non accenna a placarsi. Dopo gli scontri alle manifestazioni per il 25 aprile, dove il corteo della Brigata ebraica è stato preso di mira dai pro-pal sia a Milano che a Roma, questa volta la protesta si è spostata a Tunisi. Nella capitale nordafricana è in corso il Fiera del Libro, a cui ha fatto visita il Ministro della Cultura Gennaro Sangiuliano. Al padiglione Italia, mentre il ministro stava visitando gli stand, è andata in scena l'ennesima protesta pro Palestina. Un gruppo di attivisti ha occupato il padiglione, sventolando bandiere palestinesi e intonando cori e slogan contro Israele. Sangiuliano, per evitare i manifestanti, è stato costretto ad allontanarsi. Un gruppo di manifestanti tunisini occupa in padiglione dell'Italia alla Fiera del Libro di Tunisi, dove oggi è ospite il Ministro della cultura Sangiuliano, chiedendo la fine del sostegno a Israele e scandendo « Italia fascista ». pic.twitter.com/vQjne7Gvxv — Arianna Poletti (@AriannaPoletti) April 27, 2024 In mattinata aveva incontrato il presidente della Repubblica tunisina, Kais Saied, che aveva dichiarato: "È necessario fare buon uso delle riserve culturali dei due paesi e trarre ispirazione dalla storia comune per consolidare le relazioni umane tra il popolo tunisino e quello italiano. Accogliere l'Italia come ospite d'onore dell'attuale edizione della Fiera internazionale del libro di Tunisi riflette la profondità e il radicamento dei legami di amicizia e di cooperazione e apre ampi e promettenti orizzonti di partenariato nel settore culturale". Saied ha anche espresso la disponibilità del suo Paese "a lanciare iniziative congiunte che porteranno in futuro la cooperazione culturale a livelli più alti, tra cui la creazione di un centro culturale tunisino in Italia, il rafforzamento dei partenariati tra istituzioni e strutture culturali nei due paesi, l'incoraggiamento alla ricerca scientifica e lo scambio di studenti e ricercatori". Sangiuliano, tramite un post su X, si è definito soddisfatto del bilaterale: "Un cordiale incontro con il Presidente della Tunisia Kais Saied. La cultura può essere un formidabile volano di sviluppo sostenibile".
