Blue economy, Valentini (Mimit): "Il mare ha dimensione strategica di rilevanza crescente''

Roma, 7 lug. (Adnkronos) - "Il mare per l'Italia ha sempre significato proiezione verso il futuro e anche oggi è una dimensione strategica di rilevanza crescente. Il valore aggiunto dell'economia del mare vale 140 miliardi, con 900 mila occupati e 220 mila aziende, che oggi devono integrare le nuove tecnologie con le tradizionali attività marittime in un contesto di maggiore attenzione all'ambiente. Per questo il governo ha creato un Dipartimento per le Politiche del Mare che ha varato il cosiddetto Piano Mare". E' quanto ha detto il viceministro delle Imprese e del Made in Italy Valentino Valentini intervenendo a una conferenza internazionale a Los Angeles sulla blue economy in occasione del Tour Mondiale di Nave Amerigo Vespucci e Villaggio Italia. "Inoltre, sono in arrivo due specifici provvedimenti: il collegato alla Legge Finanziaria sulla Blue Economy e la Legge sulla Subacquea, che insieme stabiliranno una nuova e adeguata struttura normativa per questo settore. Un impegno che va di pari passo con il Piano Mattei, con cui l'Italia vuole tornare centrale nel Mare Nostrum, stimolando un nuovo rapporto tra sponda Nord e sponda Sud", ha aggiunto Valentini.
