Roma, 6 ago. (askanews) - Bolle di sapone e palloncini rosa a forma di cuore fluttuano tra le persone che si sono date appuntamento lunedì 5 agosto per una veglia fuori dal centro artistico Atkinson a Southport, una settimana dopo che tre bambine sono state accoltellate nella città dell'Inghilterra nord-occidentale. In omaggio alle vittime anche tanti fiori, soprattutto girasoli. I disordini scoppiati a Southport martedì scorso dopo il dramma, a cui sono seguite le violenze compiute da simpatizzanti di estrema destra in diverse città inglesi, hanno provocato importanti danni e portato a 400 arresti. Il governo di Keir Starmer ha deciso di rafforzare la "giustizia penale" per garantire che i manifestanti coinvolti negli scontri siano puniti al più presto.
