Cina, Meloni arrivata a Pechino: lunedì il vertice con Xi Jinping

La presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni è arrivata nella mattinata di sabato a Pechino dando il via alla sua visita nella Repubblica popolare cinese. L'obiettivo della premier, che trascorrerà quattro giorni tra la capitale cinese e Shanghai, è quello di rilanciare i rapporti bilaterali, l'interscambio economico e le relazioni culturali, dopo il mancato rinnovo da parte dell'Italia del memorandum sulla Via della Seta. Scesa dall'aereo accompagnata dalla figlia Ginevra, Meloni è stata accolta dal viceministro degli Esteri di Pechino, Deng Li. La sua missione inizierà ufficialmente domani. La fitta agenda di appuntamenti prevede per domenica l'incontro con il primo ministro del Consiglio di Stato Li Qiang, per lunedì quello con il presidente Xi Jinping.
