Colombia, Harry e Meghan in visita al villaggio degli schiavi fuggitivi

Il principe Harry e sua moglie Meghan hanno visitato una città nel nord della Colombia, come parte del loro primo viaggio nel Paese sudamericano. La coppia ha visitato San Basilio de Palenque, una città di circa 3.500 abitanti, a sud della città turistica di Cartagena, fondata nel XVII secolo da schiavi fuggitivi. Harry e Meghan erano accompagnati da Francia Márquez, attivista per i diritti umani e prima vicepresidente nera della Colombia. Márquez ha affermato che mostrerà al principe e alla duchessa la ricchezza culturale della Colombia e il lavoro che il governo colombiano sta svolgendo per combattere le disuguaglianze in un Paese in cui il 33% della popolazione vive in povertà. La coppia visiterà anche Cali, una delle città più importanti del Pacifico colombiano, dove parteciperà a un forum su "Donne afro e potere".
