Corruzione: Schlein, 'piazza dell'alternativa per non tenere in ostaggio i liguri'

Genova, 18 lug. (Adnkronos) - "Non è una piazza delle opposizioni, ma dell'alternativa, del cambiamento per la Liguria in cui voi, qui presenti, dovete essere protagonisti per dare vita a un progetto in cui a tenerci insieme non devono essere i 'contro' ma i 'per'; un progetto condiviso che non permetta più alla destra di tenere in ostaggio questa terra". E' con queste parole che la segretaria del Pd Elly Schlein chiude il suo intervento in piazza De Ferrari a Genova per chiedere le dimissioni del governatore Giovanni Toti ai domiciliari dallo scorso 7 maggio. "Non siamo qui ad anticipare sentenze, quelle spettano alla magistratura che noi rispettiamo, ma di fronte a due accuse, prima di corruzione e da oggi di finanziamento illecito, c'è una gigantesca questione di opportunità politica e la Liguria non merita di essere bloccata in questa paralisi", aggiunge dal palco che si trova a pochi passi dalla sede della Regione Liguria. La responsabilità delle mancate dimissioni non è solo di Toti per l'esponente dem. "Mi chiedo cosa aspettino le forze politiche della destra a chiedergli un passo indietro, cosa aspetta Giorgia Meloni a chiedere le dimissioni di Toti: 'cosa aspetti Meloni a fare un atto dovuto?'. Basta con due pesi e due misure, basta con ministri che diventano avvocati d'ufficio" conclude.
