Dal gas serra ai biocarburanti, la rivoluzione canadese

(Adnkronos) - Convertire i gas serra in sostanze utili e meno inquinanti. È questa la sfida cui ha risposto un gruppo di ricerca della McGill University, in Canada, che ha messo a punto una soluzione molto originale. Grazie a un metodo particolarmente innovativo, gli esperti sono infatti riusciti a trasformare il gas serra in metanolo verde e monossido di carbonio. I risultati sono promettenti, anche se saranno necessarie ulteriori ricerche. Lo studio è recentemente comparso sulle colonne di “Nature Communications”.
