Daniele Capezzone: un Papa nell'epoca degli influencer

La Suprema Cupola Politicamente Corretta si è dovuta riunire due volte in due giorni.Scherzi a parte, la verità è che, a due riprese in un fazzoletto di ore, il sinedrio degli intellettuali progressisti col ditino alzato è stato scosso fin nelle fondamenta: l'altro ieri per il caso Bergoglio (con il Papa improvvisamente retrocesso da icona acclamata a sinistra alla dimensione di “quasi-Vannacci” da cui prendere le distanze), e ieri per catoneggiare contro Giorgia Meloni che – si lagnano – non doveva comportarsi così a Caivano, dando un dispiacere a quella personcina tanto elegante e sensibile di Vincenzo De Luca. Morale: sono due giorni che i nostri intellettuali firmano pensosi editoriali, rilasciano interviste girando intorno al proprio ombelico, twittano sdegnati, postano schifati, danno le pagelle a tutti. Ma non si accorgono di un dettaglio: che delle loro sentenze non interessa più niente a nessuno. Sono completamente scollegati dalla realtà ma in preda alla sindrome dell'indispensabilità: pensano a se stessi come elementi irrinunciabili.Credono che gli italiani debbano rivolgersi a loro – ai loro temini ginnasiali che chiamano pomposamente “orazioni civili” – per sapere cosa pensare. E invece non sanno quanti “vaffa” e quanti “'sti cazzi” (scusate le espressioni, ma ormai è tutto sdoganato, credo...) accompagnano le loro pompose esternazioni. Quanta indifferenza, soprattutto.E allora facciamo un passo indietro. Quasi sessant'anni fa, nel 1967, il filosofo francese Guy Debord pronunciò la sua “sentenza”, in un saggio- più citato che letto - poi arricchito dall'autore molti anni dopo, nel 1988. Il libro si chiamava: La società dello spettacolo.I suoi adoratori (e non hanno tutti i torti) parlano di una profezia lucida, lo esaltano come una Cassandra dei tempi moderni, ne hanno fatto un'icona intellettuale, e non c'è convegno sulla comunicazione in cui ai partecipanti non sia inflitta qualche citazione tratta da quel testo. I suoi critici (e non hanno tutti i torti neanche loro) tendono però a mettere in guardia dalle lenti ideologiche marxiste attraverso le quali Debord guardava il mondo, e che dunque lo portavano a risolvere tutto in termini di spettacolo come inganno, di mistificazione autoritaria, di passivizzazione degli spettatori, di ignoranza organizzata, di immagine senza memoria. Forse, a ben vedere, esagerano entrambe le “curve”: sia i tifosi della “anticipazione lungimirante”, sia quelli della “visione troppo cupa e negativa”. Comunque la si pensi, il fatto è che Debord aveva colto un dato essenziale, e cioè la dimensione spettacolare e spettacolarizzata della comunicazione, della politica, della vita, come connotato della modernità. Se è consentito, esagerava anche lui: che vedeva in tutto questo un trionfo del “potere”. Quando invece, oggi, anche un bambino intuisce che, nel nostro Occidente, siamo piuttosto davanti a uno spappolamento e a uno svuotamento di quel potere. Che vuoi “decostruire” se è già tutto sfasciato? Altro che monolite, altro che verticalizzazione autoritaria: tutto è ultrafrazionato e sminuzzato come le centinaia di reti televisive, siti Internet, canali social, che possiamo raggiungere e da cui siamo raggiunti, in un frullatore impazzito. IL CIRCO DELLA LIKECRAZIA E allora, diciamocelo: siamo dentro un circo, il circo della “likecrazia”, e serve a poco contestarne le regole e l'estetica, pensare di tramutarlo in una cattedrale gotica, o pretenderne un'impossibile chiusura: occorre capirlo e interpretarlo, prima di giudicarlo. Perché Bergoglio ha parlato così? Perché – nel bene e nel male – è un influencer anche lui, per quanto speciale e vestito di bianco. E perché Meloni si è concessa la favolosa scenata di ieri contro De Luca? Intanto (e non è poco) per divertirsi e per rendere pan per focaccia a chi si era comportato con lei da cafone. E poi – usiamo il linguaggio social che farebbe inorridire i parrucconi – per “gasare” i suoi follower con un'“asfaltata” memorabile, virale, che infatti ieri rimbalzava da tutte le parti. E allora proviamo a ragionare con realismo (e anche con un sorriso, che non fa mai male). In tutto il mondo, l'arena politica e civile è stata potentemente e irreversibilmente trasformata: prima dalla televisione generalista, poi dall'avvento dei social network, e infine dal mix e dal reciproco interscambio tra vecchi e nuovi media. L'informazione h24, interattiva, senza soste, senza tregua, ad altissimo impatto emotivo, mescolata con l'intrattenimento, ha travolto partiti, linguaggi, classi dirigenti, forme, protocolli. Siamo tutti dentro un immenso talent show, in una chiassosa e permanente diretta multimediale. Vale per i “concorrenti”: oggi è del tutto inimmaginabile una leadership politica o istituzionale estranea a questo tipo di comunicazione. E vale anche per i “giudici”, per il pubblico: che non è più solo spettatore (altro che “passivizzazione”), ma sempre più spesso impone temi ed emozioni, in un gioco di specchi e inseguimenti tra politici e persone comuni, non di rado intercambiabili. Questo talent show perenne porta con sé evidenti rischi di superficialità e dilettantismo, dal lato popolare. E alle istituzioni può mancare la forza di scegliere soluzioni difficili o impopolari, o anche solo programmi che richiedano un tempo di attuazione più lungo di una stagione brevissima, nevrotica, bruciante. Ma “è la democrazia, bellezza”. Sbaglia un vecchio establishment presuntuoso e spocchioso, più propenso a giudicare il popolo che ad ascoltarlo, a capirlo, a comprenderlo. Sbaglia chi se la prende con gli elettori, e chi- a volte senza accorgersene - sembra disprezzare democrazia e suffragio universale. Questo è il gioco, questa è la nuova agorà, e queste sono le sue regole. Sta ai politici coraggiosi combinare spinta ideale e identificazione con la common people. E sta ai cittadini intelligenti andare oltre le apparenze, cercare i contenuti oltre alla confezione sgargiante e luccicante. Vale per tutti noi, e vale per ogni protagonista della vita pubblica (primi ministri e papi inclusi).
