Ddl sicurezza: Fornaro (Pd), 'rischio di deriva illiberale, il governo si fermi'

Roma, 10 set. (Adnkronos) - "Nel rispetto delle leggi, il dissenso è un diritto fondamentale in un Paese democratico. Quello che con questo ddl il governo propone è la repressione del dissenso non violento, ponendosi fuori dalla cornice di una democrazia liberale con norme liberticide". Lo dichiara il deputato dem Federico Fornaro intervenendo a Montecitorio sul ddl sicurezza, durante la discussione generale. "È un provvedimento - continua il parlamentare - impregnato anche di scelte ideologiche e propagandistiche come sulle norme dei bambini da crescere in carcere e sulla filiera agroalimentare della canapa. Un ddl espressione di una cultura illiberale e di un panpenalismo emozionale che disconosce la storia perché è noto che l'aumento di pena non ha mai risolto nulla e, anzi, contribuisce a rendere sempre più ingestibile la situazione dei penitenziari". "La sicurezza è un bene comune, fermatevi. Fermate finché siete in tempo questa deriva verso una democrazia illiberale" ha concluso Fornaro.
