Francesco Storace: cambi di sesso ai minori, la Toscana tira dritto e il centrodestra attacca

Il presidente della Toscana, Eugenio Giani, non pare turbato dalla cronache del Careggi. Nell'ospedale di Firenze, si può accompagnare un bambino di undici anni verso il sesso preferito, senza un neuropsichiatra che ti segua, con medicinali comunque invasivi. Non solo: il governatore tira avanti e attacca chi solleva il problema. Eppure sono creature. Per Giani, evidentemente, sono semplicemente utenti. Di qui una polemica durissima, con il centrodestra all'attacco della politica sanitaria toscana. Con interventi di consiglieri regionali di Fdi e Lega e il j'accuse del capogruppo di Forza Italia al Senato, Maurizio Gasparri. Lunedì sarà convocata la commissione sanità regionale, ma proprio Gasparri ha già chiesto e ottenuto l'intervento chiarificatore del ministro della salute, Schillaci. E contesta al governatore di dire cose false. «Il presidente della Regione Toscana Giani continua a ciurlare nel manico. Io non faccio speculazioni elettorali, io ho accertato che è un ospedale che è sotto la sua giurisdizione ha trattato dei bambini in difformità dalle regole vigenti. Una violazione molto grave. Sulla quale non io, ma altri hanno presentato un esposto perfino alla Procura della Repubblica. Giani si deve scusare, non deve mostrare la sua consueta arroganza e superficialità». «Io- ricorda- ho fatto l'interrogazione a dicembre, il governo mi ha risposto ad aprile, dopo aver attuato un'ispezione il 23 ed il 24 gennaio, della quale evidentemente i dirigenti del Careggi avranno pure informato l'assessore alla Sanità ed il presidente della Regione. Se dei bambini – afferma il capogruppo azzurro- sono stati sottoposti ad un trattamento senza l'adeguata e prevista assistenza psicoterapeutica specializzata per l'infanzia Giani lo ammetta». In sostanza, a quanto si è appreso, al Careggi ai bambini di 10 e 11 anni è stata somministrata la triptorelina, un farmaco molto pesante che blocca la pubertà nei casi presunti di disforia di genere, senza l'assistenza di psicoterapia specializzata per l'infanzia che le regole imponevano». È persino risultato che l'ospedale non aveva mandato il monitoraggio all'Aifa sulle somministrazioni e sugli effetti della triptorelina. Per Gasparri «in varie parti del mondo ci sono molti dubbi sull'uso di questo farmaco, per esempio in Inghilterra e altrove. Ho chiesto una verifica al governo, che ha certificato che avevo ragione». A sollecitare la chiusura del centro per la disforia di genere è Fdi. Dice il consigliere regionale Petrucci: «Dalla relazione degli ispettori ministeriali, così come abbiamo letto nella risposta all'interrogazione parlamentare e sentito dalle dichiarazioni del governatore Giani, emergono delle criticità che riteniamo inaccettabili nella cura dei bambini che vivono questa particolare situazione. Evidenze che smentiscono le risposte dell'assessore Bezzini a una interrogazione regionale di gennaio in cui dichiarava «le attività e i percorsi clinico assistenziali sono svolti in applicazione della normativa vigente, delle raccomandazioni scientifiche nazionali e internazionali nonché, per il trattamento farmacologico, della determina Aifa. È ormai chiaro che nel centro di Careggi non sia presente un neuropsichiatra infantile, figura necessaria secondo l'Aifa per seguire i bambini con presunta disforia di genere trattati con il farmaco triptorelinaha aggiunto Petrucci - Per noi questo è sufficiente per chiedere la sospensione dell'attività di Careggie far seguire i pazienti in carico dal Meyer dove sicuramente sono presenti neuropsichiatri infantili. Continuiamo a non comprendere perché si è voluto costituire un simile Centro proprio all'interno di Careggi e non del Meyer, una eccellenza nazionale della nostra pediatria». Anche i leghisti toscani non intendono tacere di fronte al caso.. «Dopo l'arrivo della relazione da parte del ministero della Salute, vengano accolti immediatamente i correttivi chiesti da Roma e che la vicenda non dia più adito a continue esternazioni politiche». Così in una nota i consiglieri regionali della Lega Elena Meini e Giovanni Galli. «Lo ripetiamoaffermano-, l'argomento è particolarmente sensibile e ovviamente ci mettiamo nei panni di quei genitori che, quantomeno, sono stati come “travolti” da notizie molto pesanti che riguardano i propri figli», precisano gli esponenti leghisti. «Il diritto alla salute nella sua interezza è un bene molto prezioso e tutti devono impegnarsi al massimo perché non venga mai messo in discussione; adesso basta chiacchierare, si correggano i potenziali errori e s'individuino eventuali responsabili qualora si fossero adottate procedure non corrette sui giovani». Bisogna farlo capire a Giani.
