Garante privacy: "Bilanciare diritti a innovare, a salute e a dati personali"

Bologna, 17 set. (Adnkronos Salute) - "L'innovazione fa parte del presente, neppure del futuro. Va abbracciata con convinzione questa parola d'ordine nel bilanciamento tra diritti: quello a innovare, quello a star bene e quello alla protezione dei dati personali". Sono le parole Guido Scorza, Collegio Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, nel suo intervento oggi a Bologna al convegno sulla digitalizzazione in sanità 'Connected Care', organizzato dalla Federazione nazionale degli Ordini delle professioni infermieristiche (Fnopi). "La privacy è garanzia della dignità della persona e non c'è salute senza dignità della persona - ha sottolineato Scorza - ragione per la quale quell'equilibrio, quel bilanciamento appunto tra il diritto alla salute e il diritto alla protezione dei dati è imprescindibile. Dobbiamo riuscire a essere trasparenti e garantire il più sacro di tutti i diritti, quello a non dover scegliere tra star bene e la propria dignità, la propria privacy".
