Gb, Starmer primo ministro a Downing Street: "Ricostruiremo il Paese"

Londra, 5 lug. (askanews) - "Se ieri avete votato laburista, avremo la responsabilità della vostra fiducia mentre ricostruiamo il nostro Paese. Ma che abbiate votato laburista o meno - anzi, soprattutto se non lo avete fatto - vi dico direttamente: il mio governo sarà al vostro servizio". Così il nuovo premier britannico Keir Starmer nel suo primo discorso da Downing Street dopo essere stato nominato primo ministro da Re Carlo III. "La politica può essere una forza per il bene. Noi lo dimostreremo. Abbiamo cambiato il Partito Laburista, lo abbiamo riportato al servizio e questo è il modo in cui governeremo. Prima il Paese, poi il partito", ha aggiunto.
