Germania: Varsavia, 'consultazioni urgenti con Ue su decisione Berlino su migranti'

Varsavia, 10 set. (Adnkronos/Dpa/Europa Press) - Il primo ministro polacco, Donald Tusk, ha annunciato che richiederà consultazioni "urgenti" a livello di Unione europea sulla decisione della Germania di espandere i controlli alle frontiere terrestri per cercare di fermare l'ingresso di immigrati in situazione irregolare. "Nelle prossime ore contatteremo gli altri paesi che sono stati colpiti dalle decisioni di Berlino per effettuare consultazioni urgenti su queste azioni a livello dell'Unione europea", ha sottolineato durante l'incontro con gli ambasciatori polacchi a Varsavia. Tusk ha assicurato che queste azioni di Berlino sono "inaccettabili". "Non ho dubbi che sia la situazione politica interna ad aggravare questo tipo di iniziative e non la nostra politica contro l'immigrazione clandestina alle nostre frontiere", ha affermato. Il primo ministro polacco ha anche sottolineato che è necessario il "pieno sostegno" della Germania e dell'intera Ue per quanto riguarda la sicurezza delle frontiere esterne. "Allo stesso tempo, non soccomberemo al mito secondo cui la democrazia e i diritti umani sono in conflitto con una politica statale dura e determinata in materia di difesa dei confini e del territorio", ha concluso Tusk.
