Giani: lavori AV procedono, nodo di Firenze risolto entro 2028

Firenze, 13 ago. (askanews) - Il presidente della Toscana, Eugenio Giani, fornisce un aggiornamento sui lavori dell'Alta Velocità a Firenze, rispondendo ai giornalisti sui disagi di questa estate che hanno fatto ribattezzare "imbuto" il nodo ferroviario del capoluogo toscano. La talpa ha finora scavato un tunnel lungo un chilometro e trecento metri, rispetto al primo percorso di tre chilometri che la porterà nella zona di via Circondaria e Fortezza da Basso. "Devo dire -osserva Giani- che i lavori stanno andando molto bene, così come sta andando lo scavo del camerone di quello che sarà la stazione Belfiore, che ha già raggiunto i 16 metri per arrivare ai 24 metri che sono quelli necessari perché possa arrivare la talpa e costruire progressivamente tutta l'imbracatura nel cemento armato della stazione, che diventerà la principale stazione di Firenze. Quando nel 2027-2028 avremo i treni che andranno in questo canale assolutamente proprio e autonomo, del passante ferroviario sotterraneo, non ci sarà più quell'intreccio fra i treni ad Alta Velocità che richiedono il vuoto chilometri prima e chilometri dopo, e i treni regionali che arrivano e si bloccano perché passa un treno Av". "Ecco -conclude Giani- la necessità di procedere sulla strada che abbiamo intrapreso, quella di un sviluppo il più possibile rapido dei lavori perché non ci saranno più quelle interferenze che generano i guai che ogni giorno vengono denunciati per ritardi e disfunzioni".
