Giappone, arriva il tifone Ampil: venti forti e mareggiate

Il tifone Ampil si è avvicinato al Giappone venerdì, mentre le autorità hanno messo in guardia da smottamenti e inondazioni nelle aree vicine al suo percorso previsto attraverso l'Oceano Pacifico. Nella prefettura di Chiba, le autorità hanno chiesto ai residenti di evacuare l'area mentre grandi onde iniziavano a infrangersi sulla città di mare. Secondo l'Agenzia meteorologica giapponese, Ampil, con venti a oltre 160 km/h, non dovrebbe toccare terra, ma si sta muovendo verso un gruppo di piccole isole chiamate Hachijojima. I treni Shinkansen tra Tokyo e Nagoya sono stati fermati per l'intera giornata, secondo la Central Japan Railway, come succede spesso in caso di tifoni. Sospesa temporaneamente anche la circolazione dell'alta velocità nel Giappone nord-orientale e alcuni treni locali di Tokyo. Decine di voli in partenza e in arrivo sono stati cancellati nei due aeroporti di Tokyo, Haneda e Narita, e in quelli di Kansai, Osaka e Chubu. Circa 90mila passeggeri sono stati colpiti dai disagi. Anche diverse autostrade potrebbero essere parzialmente chiuse al traffico.
