Giornata Sla, Schillaci: "Impegnati a garantire le migliori cure"

Roma, 15 set. (Adnkronos) - "La Sla è una sfida che ci tocca profondamente, ricordandoci quanto siano importanti la ricerca scientifica, l'innovazione e la solidarietà. Negli ultimi anni, abbiamo compiuto notevoli progressi, ma siamo consapevoli che il cammino è ancora lungo e per questo siamo impegnati a garantire a tutti i pazienti le migliori cure possibili, sostenere progetti di ricerca all'avanguardia e rafforzare le reti assistenziali sul territorio”. Così il ministro della Salute, Orazio Schillaci, in occasione della 17esima Giornata nazionale della Sla, Sclerosi laterale amiotrofica, che si celebra il 14 e 15 settembre, ricorda l'importanza di un'iniziativa così “significativa” per le “oltre 6mila persone in Italia che convivono con la Sla e alle loro famiglie. La vostra determinazione e il vostro coraggio - aggiunge - sono un esempio per tutti noi”.
