Governo: Mauri (Pd), 'Meloni non si fida della polizia, grave allontanare agenti'

Roma, 10 set. (Adnkronos) - "La presidente del Consiglio dimostra di non fidarsi della polizia italiana. Ne è prova l'allontanamento degli agenti di polizia dal piano in cui si trovano gli uffici della Presidente del Consiglio. Questo è un fatto di estrema gravità, considerando che quegli agenti hanno sempre avuto il compito di garantire l'incolumità di chi ricopre temporaneamente questa carica istituzionale. Tentare di sminuire quanto accaduto è inutile e infantile, soprattutto cercando di giustificare la decisione derubricandola all'accompagnamento negli ascensori. Noi abbiamo la certezza assoluta di quanto avvenuto ma, viste le dichiarazioni di Meloni e del suo staff, chiediamo alla Presidente del consiglio di rendere pubblici gli ordini di servizio relativi a questi ultimi giorni. Chiaramente quelli veri”. Così Matteo Mauri, deputato e responsabile sicurezza del Partito Democratico, ex viceministro dell'Interno con delega alla Polizia. “Questa situazione - aggiunge Mauri - è la cartina di tornasole che quando il governo parla di sicurezza lo fa solo propaganda come è evidente dal ddl attualmente in discussione alla Camera. Piuttosto che garantire risorse per migliorare le condizioni di vita e di lavoro degli agenti delle forze dell'ordine, il governo si limita a inventare nuovi reati e ad aumentare le pene, senza investire un euro nel miglioramento reale della sicurezza".
