I Giochi a Parigi? In California c'è il mondiale di surf... per cani

Decine di cani surfisti hanno cavalcato le onde della California settentrionale in occasione del Campionato mondiale di surf per cani. La prima edizione si è svolta nel 2006. Quest'anno centinaia di spettatori hanno assistito alle esibizioni di decine di animali provenienti da Europa e Asia. I premi finali sono stati assegnati in diverse categorie a seconda della taglia del cane. I giudici hanno tenuto conto della distanza del percorso e hanno assegnato punti bonus per lo stile. Il ricavato dell'evento sostiene le associazioni locali di salvataggio degli animali.
