"Il contrattacco di Israele? Non una risposta qualsiasi": l'avvertimento di Caracciolo

"Usa, Iran e Israele hanno concordato i limti di quello che è successo, forse il più preoccupato era l'Iran, che doveva evitare di provocare vittime": Lucio Caracciolo, ospite di Lilli Gruber a Otto e mezzo su La7, lo ha detto a proposito dell'attacco lanciato sabato scorso da Teheran contro Tel Aviv. "Tutti sapevano che ci sarebbe stato questo attacco - ha proseguito il direttore della rivista di geopolitica Limes - nessuno poteva sapere i termini, si sapeva solo che non ci dovevano essere danni". Su quello che potrebbe accadere ora, invece, le incognite sono tante. Israele, dopo la riunione del gabinetto di guerra, ha fatto sapere che una risposta all'attacco dell'Iran sarà "imminente". A tal proposito l'esperto ospite della Gruber ha spiegato: "Nessuno sa cosa ne seguirà, Israele potrebbe passare all'incasso visti i tanti Paesi schierati a suo favore dopo mesi di isolamento per le stragi a Gaza. Nel gabinetto di Israele, comunque, in molti dicono che una risposta va data e non una risposta qualsiasi. Caracciolo, infine, ha fatto riferimento alla posizione americana: "Gli Usa hanno detto che non appoggeranno un'offensiva, io escluderei un attacco in massa, primo perché non è facile, secondo perché Israele rischierebbe di perdere in pochi minuti la dote che ha ricevuto".
