Il premio Nobel Yunus ha giurato e guida il governo del Bangladesh

Dacca, 9 ago. (askanews) - Il nuovo governo ad interim del Bangladesh ha iniziato i suoi lavori. Ufficialmente, il mandato del governo è iniziato quando il nuovo primo ministro, titolo ufficiale di consigliere capo, Muhammad Yunus, ha prestato giuramento. Yunus è un analista economico e ha ricevuto il Premio Nobel per la Pace nel 2006. Il primo atto ufficiale dopo aver prestato giuramento come leader ad interim del paese è stato visitare il Memoriale nazionale dei martiri del Bangladesh. Ha promesso di riportare il paese alla democrazia dopo che una rivolta guidata dagli studenti ha posto fine al governo di Sheikh Hasina durato 15 anni. Le prime sfide di Yunus sono la stabilizzazione del Paese e la preparazione alle nuove elezioni parlamentari.
