La Cina toglie i dazi e riapre il suo mercato al vino australiano

Canberra, 28 mar. (askanews) - La Cina riapre il suo mercato al vino australiano. Il governo di Pechino ha annunciato che saranno revocati i dazi che hanno aumentato fino al 200% il costo delle bottiglie in arrivo dall'Australia facendone crollare le vendite. "Voglio sottolineare che Cina e Australia hanno adeguatamente risolto le reciproche preoccupazioni attraverso il dialogo e la consultazione" ha detto il portavoce del ministero degli Esteri sottolineando la ricucitura dei rapporti commerciali fra i due Paesi dopo anni di tensione. I dazi erano stati imposti sulle principali esportazioni australiane come vino, orzo e carne bovina nel 2020 dopo una serie di leggi volute da Canberra contro l'influenza estera, che hanno escluso Huawei dai contratti 5G, e dopo la richiesta di una indagine sulle origini della pandemia di Covid-19. La Cina era un mercato ingente per l'Australia, pari nel 2020, pre restrizioni, al 33% delle esportazioni. I dazi verranno tolti ufficialmente da fine marzo.
