La scienza sulle tracce dei furbetti del miele

(Adnkronos) - La comunità scientifica si è messa sulle tracce dei furbetti del miele, dopo che un rapporto della Commissione Europea pubblicato lo scorso anno aveva suonato il campanello d'allarme. Un gruppo di ricercatori inglesi propone una soluzione originale, con l'obiettivo di prendere in castagna i truffatori. Visto che a venire spacciati per miele sono dei comuni sciroppi ricavati da barbabietola, riso e grano, sarebbe sufficiente sottoporre i prodotti a un esame del DNA per verificarne l'autenticità. Lo studio è stato recentemente pubblicato su “Food Control”.
