Fa uno strano effetto sentir parlare di “scomunica” e di “scisma”, due parole che credevamo chiuse nei libri di storia e legate a lontanissime questioni medievali (a parte i casi più recenti di Lefebvre e Milingo), ma è da ieri che su tutti i siti e sui giornali rimbalza la notizia della scomunica dell'arcivescovo Carlo Maria Viganò con l'accusa gravissima di scisma. Che cosa ha combinato? Perché e quando la Chiesa cattolica decide di infliggere la massima punizione a un suo prelato?
